Current Projects:

Duck Nesting Boxes, Programs affiliated with Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) and Delta Waterfowl 1000 Islands Chapter.

Public Education and Workshops,

Pine Meadow Fund Raiser

Walleye Spawning Beds,

Support to other Trappers Councils and Trappers,

Donations to worthy local charitable groups,

Partnership with Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry (old MNRF) (NDMNRF) in the areas of environment protection, restoration and research to include fisher teeth collection and COVID in mink testing, and

FATC president Wilford Deline accepting a check from the NDMNRF to support our community activities.


Education:

School Programs and Bursaries - Trapper's Heritage Award started in 2010. We have given out $13,200.00 to promote education.

Trapping Courses (Fur Harvest, Fur Management and Conservation Course). Young Trapper Education Program (YTEP) started in 2011.



Nuisance Wildlife Control:

We have a very successful nuisance beaver program in place providing our services to Central Frontenac, North Frontenac, and Addington Highlands Townships. There are also members available to assist in the southern regions of Frontenac, Lennox and Addington Counties.
