Application Trapper's Heritage Award





The Frontenac Addington Trappers Council - Trapper’s Heritage Award is designed to help young committed graduates in their pursuit of post-secondary education by providing deserving candidates with a financial award. The Frontenac – Addington Trappers Council is involved in many public education projects since their establishment in 1980 as a non-profit organization. They represent tappers in the Frontenac – Addington area and are committed to encouraging the wise use and conservation of our Natural Resources. Below is the application, and application overview for the Trapper’s Heritage Award. Please feel free to contact the Frontenac – Addington Trappers Council should you have any questions.

Eligibility In order to be eligible for this award:

• The applicant must be a student graduating from a Frontenac Lennox and Addington Secondary School.

• The applicant must have shown concern and is involved in the well-being of their school, their community and their local environment.

• The applicant must be accepted in a post-secondary institution or apprenticeship.


A candidate may receive this award if they have demonstrated:

• An excellent academic record.

• Extra-curricular activities.

• A pursuit of post-secondary education or apprenticeship.


Application Application Forms are available at the Student Services. The application form must be completed in its entirety, and returned to the Student Services by the 1st of June. Along with the application, the applicant must provide the following:

• Proof of acceptance in a post-secondary institution or apprenticeship.

• A letter of reference from a member of the community.
